of accessing a car

Communauto’s vehicles are for the exclusive use of its members. By becoming a member of Communauto, you gain access to a fleet of vehicles which may be rented by the hour –even by the half-hour– by the day or for longer periods, as needed. Just call to reserve a car. Vehicles are conveniently located near members, right in their neighbourhoods, and are available without delay, day or night.

It's all very simple...

Members join Communauto by contract (minimum of one year).

To reserve a car, members access our web site or call our telephone operators, ready to serve you 24 hours a day.

Members pick up the designated car and drop it off at the same location and at the agreed upon time.

Each member has direct access to the entire fleet of cars at all times; no need for parking attendants.

Members fill out a trip coupon recording the distance traveled during their trip. At the end of the month, an itemized bill is mailed to their home.

Since gas is included in our prices, all fuel purchases made by members during their trips are credited on their monthly bill.
