For long-distance trips, members who subscribe to package A, B or C can take advantage of a flat daily rate. Communauto vehicles can be reserved at this rate upon request, when vehicle availability permits it.

If no Communauto vehicles are available at the Long Distance rate for the period you request, Communauto can reserve a similar vehicle for you at participating rental companies. These are known as Network reservations. This system gives you access to a network of rental companies, hence its name.

This network offers many advantages, including greater vehicle availability, and rebates on a wider range of vehicles.

When selecting your package, it’s important to keep in mind that the Long Distance rates and Network reservations are available – at the same price – to all members who subscribe to package A, B or C. For more information, see “Basic Rates vs. Long Distance Rates”.

Subscribers who select the Le Lièvre package do not have access to the Long Distance rates, but they can make Network reservations.
